Business Development and Talent Attraction Research Takes Team to Miami
South Beach in Miami was an epicenter for creatives as entrepreneurs, business professionals, artists and art collectors converged at Art Basel, one of the world’s largest art fairs. Hannah Stork, director of business development, attended Art Basel this year on behalf of the Regional Partnership to explore how the event aligns with Northeast Indiana’s business development and talent attraction efforts. With the collaborative art advisers Dan Swartz and Jennifer Ford, Stork engaged with a number of international business professionals and pursued business leads. In addition to attending Art Basel, Stork coordinated business meetings with companies based in the Miami region to discuss business development opportunities in Northeast Indiana and discussed talent recruitment with creative professionals from our region. She also joined economic development partners from Indiana Michigan Power at the Consultants Forum to network with global site selectors. The trip provides a capstone to the Regional Partnership’s goals in 2016 to build a new model for our business development efforts.
