Regional Field Trips: Wabash and More!
The first Regional Field Trip on August 14 welcomed 25 Northeast Indiana residents to charming downtown Wabash. During the visit, the group toured the Honeywell Center and the historic Eagles Theatre. Guests also stopped by Gallery 64, a creative space featuring food, clothing and art, during a walking tour led by Visit Wabash County. The visit also featured a group discussion at the Economic Development Group of Wabash County’s office. The discussion highlighted the Regional Cities Initiative and the positive impact talent attraction and quality of place initiatives can have in Wabash County. The day closed with lunch and tours of the historic Charley Creek Inn. The Regional Field Trips are just getting started, too! If you missed out on Wabash tour, take a look at photos from the first Regional Field Trip. There will be plenty of opportunities to experience all of the friendly communities that make Northeast Indiana. Be on the lookout for the next regional field trip planned for October.
