In 2015, Bluffton celebrated another honor when it was named Indiana’s first “Gigabit City,” thanks to its universally available internet speeds up to one hundred times faster than a typical residential broadband connection. The term “Gigabit City” had its genesis in Google’s efforts in Kansas City to provide universal access to ultra high-speed broadband.
