Professional Development Series for Interns Goes Virtual
Employers Encouraged to Invite Interns to Participate
It’s our mission to make sure that all employers have the resources they need to ensure that they can provide high-quality work-based learning experiences whether they are onsite or virtual. That’s why we are committed to moving forward with our Professional Development Summer Series for Interns through the Regional Partnership's Internship Program for Employers!
In the past, we have hosted our professional development sessions in person, but due to COVID-19 we are adapting. We are excited to announce that our Professional Development Summer Series for Interns is going VIRTUAL! The change from in person to virtual also gives us the opportunity to add additional new sessions and involve more leaders from Northeast Indiana.
We know that the world of internships is changing for employers. Many employers have had to make hard decisions like delaying internship dates, creating virtual internships or even canceling the internship program altogether. Despite the changes that may be occurring in your internship, all interns and students are invited to join our professional development events for free.
The session topics will cover:
- CliftonStrengths for Interns (Strengths Assessment will be included)
- Addressing Your Implicit Bias
- Lessons from Leaders
- LinkedIn Training: Networks = Net Worth
- Financial Literacy: Planning for the Future
- National Intern Day Celebration
In order to attend our sessions, interns will need to RSVP through Eventbrite. Click here to RSVP.
