Regional Partnership Welcomes Manpower and Barton-Coe-Vilamaa

Regional Partnership Welcomes New Investors
Manpower
Manpower is an employment and staffing agency with the mission to create success in the world of work for employers and employees. Manpower accomplishes this by partnering with employers to deliver the people, the processes and the insights to provide better business results. Started by his father in Lansing, Mich. in 1962, David Borgen is the second generation of leadership at the Manpower franchise. Manpower joined the Regional Opportunities Council (ROC), the investor board of the Regional Partnership, after attending a recent investor meeting as a guest. Borgen views the ROC as a chance to give back to the community while also working directly with the region’s brightest and best business leaders to move Northeast Indiana's economy forward.
Barton-Coe-Vilamaa
For the past 49 years, Barton-Coe-Vilamaa, an architecture and engineering firm in the region, has been planning, designing and developing K-12 facilities to provide a space to educate the region’s children. Today, they have built a company serving 55 school corporations across the region. The staff takes great pride in designing facilities that are not only comfortable and modern, but more importantly, functional for the students and staff of the building. By collaborating with the staff, students and administration of each school corporation, they ensure that each project is built to suit the needs of the individual school's mission and goals. Barton-Coe-Vilamaa plays a significant role in building a community prepared and able to retain young talent.
