Eileen Alberding joined NEI’s Business Development team in May 2023. She is responsible for sourcing and nurturing new business expansions and relocations to increase business investment in Northeast Indiana, with a particular focus on regional office space.
Eileen is an accomplished business development director with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to drive growth. Her diverse work experience includes marketing, nonprofit fundraising, communications, and business operations. Eileen is passionate about developing and maintaining strong relationships, exceeding expectations, achieving strategic objectives, and delivering effective communications.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Purdue University Fort Wayne. Eileen is a member of Greater Fort Wayne’s Women’s Network and a volunteer with Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana. She is active in Fort Wayne’s vibrant community theater scene as an actor and occasional piano accompanist.

Did You Know?
- Eileen loves DIY projects and updating her home. Favorite projects include building a dining table and restoring a 1960s crystal chandelier.
- Eileen’s prized possession is a Steinway baby grand piano inherited from her grandparents’ piano studio. She, along with hundreds of other people, learned to play piano on that same instrument.
- Eileen dreamed of going dogsledding for many years. Finally last winter she made that dream a reality during a family trip to Wisconsin.
