Chase Gibson joined NEI as Director of Business Development in April of 2024. His key responsibilities are sourcing and nurturing new business expansion, relocation leads, and qualified prospects to sell Northeast Indiana to increase business investment. As well as focusing on the creation and execution of the overall regional office strategy that integrates national and international business development, cluster development and marketing as well as working industrial attraction projects.

Chase has lived in Northeast Indiana nearly his whole life, being born and raised in Kosciusko County. He then went to Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. After graduating, he worked as a project manager in the construction industry working with different municipalities across the state regarding water and wastewater treatment facilities. Prior to joining NEI Chase worked for the state with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) as the Northeast Indiana APEX Accelerator where he helped businesses in the area grow and expand via government contracting, specifically working with the Department of Defense. During his time with the IEDC he also served on the board for the Northeast Indiana Defense Industry Association.

Did You Know?

  • Chase loves staying active and is involved in many different activities around Fort Wayne. The one taking up the most of his time being ultimate frisbee where he participates in multiple leagues.
  • Chase enjoys taking adventurous vacations. His favorite one to date being when he completed base camp on Mount Everest in Nepal.
  • He is a huge Purdue fan and has season tickets to Purdue football games. You can always catch him playing a variety of yard games at the tailgate prior to the game.
