Mac & Cheese Festival Returns for Seconds

Indiana’s Mac & Cheese Festival is this Saturday, July 19 from 3-8 p.m. at Parkview Field.

People of Northeast Indiana love mac and cheese so much that the Mac and Cheese Festival decided to return to Fort Wayne for a second consecutive year!

And there are plans to keep coming back.

Indiana’s Mac & Cheese Festival is this Saturday, July 19, from 3-8 p.m. at Parkview Field.

Attendees can expect over 50 one-of-a-kind mac and cheese samples, craft beers, ciders, seltzers, and spirits. In terms of entertainment, there will be a dueling pianos show, magicians from TAG Art, and Alex the Fire Breather.

“Mac & Cheese Fest is the perfect mix of celebrating local and regional restaurants and taking over Parkview Field for a family-friendly event. Our goal is to provide all attendees with an over-the-top experience, whether it’s new food, new entertainment, we put on a complete show from start to finish,” Director of Events of Outlier Events Bailley Kluisza said.

Last year’s event sold out, and this year’s festival will utilize the entire concourse of Parkview Field, allowing for efficient lines and opening up more drink outlets.

“I believe that mac & cheese is a staple food item for so many, it was so fun bringing Mac & Cheese Fest to Fort Wayne for the first time last year, being invited back this year, and getting to experience the excitement building around the event provides us the opportunity to make it a special and lasting tradition to the area,” Kluisza said.

After last year’s event, the anticipation for this year’s event has grown significantly.

“I think attendees are excited to see the new twists to the event. We have taken in all of the feedback and worked to ensure that we provide something memorable. On top of that, I think past attendees and current ticket holders have encouraged and pushed us to think out of the box and give them an afternoon that they won’t forget,” Kluisza said.

Their goal is to make this an event that people look forward to year after year and continue to grow.

“I think there is no limit to our events, if Fort Wayne continues to show interest, and vendors continue to show up for us as they have been, there is no doubt to us that this can become a tradition in Fort Wayne for many, many years,” Kluisza said.
