FORT WAYNE – The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership (NEI) has hired Jacob Ihrie to be its Director of Regional Initiatives.
Ihrie will be responsible for helping develop and provide day-to-day management of initiatives and programs that attract and deploy resources necessary to improve the region’s competitiveness for new business investment and population growth.
“I’m beyond excited to join the NEI team. I can’t express how impressed I’ve been with the work this organization has done and am honored to contribute to it going forward,” Ihrie said.
Previously, Ihrie worked as the Town Manager for the town of Albion for nearly three years.
“We are thrilled to have Jacob join our team. His expertise and skills are key assets that will be beneficial to NEI and for our region,” Vice President of Regional Initiatives Ryan Twiss said. “We look forward to the creative and exciting strategies Jacob will present to improve our region’s competitiveness.”
Ihrie is a graduate of Central Noble High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in public policy analysis from Indiana University, and he earned his master’s degree in regional planning from Ball State University. Ihrie served in the United States Navy for over five years.
