Before and After

Get to Know LaGrange County
Whether a resident or a visitor, LaGrange County feels like home. No matter if it’s coming together to enjoy local events, supporting the many small businesses, or taking time to learn about each other, it’s what the simple way of life is all about. A great example is at the 114-year-old Corn School Festival, originally created for the corn growing classes to showcase their products, or while intermingling at the Midwest’s Largest Flea Market and inside the auction buildings bidding on antiques.
Of note, LaGrange County is home to the third-largest Amish population in the country, highlighting their culture through attractions, dining experiences and craftsmanship.
The county's natural areas are unmatched with five beautifully maintained, unique parks, a fifth of Indiana’s freshwater lakes, a large wildlife area and one of the only Fens, a unique natural wetland, in the state.
These are just a few of the reasons millions of visitors and thousands of residents enjoy LaGrange County.
