Mark joined NEI in 2022. A native of Allen County, he has a Master of Public Management degree from Indiana University Fort Wayne. Prior to NEI, Mark was a community development planner with Region 3-A Development and Regional Planning Commission, a planner with the Columbia City/Whitley County Joint Planning and Building Department, and a researcher with Community Research Institute at Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Did You Know?

1. Mark spent a month in Peru when he was 18 years old. Highlights of the trip included trekking in the Cordillera Huayhuash and backpacking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
2. An avid tennis player, Mark played on the men’s team at DePauw University.
3. Mark enjoys live music. His favorite contemporary bands include Billy Strings, STS9, and Dark Star Orchestra.
