Mark joined NEI in 2022. A native of Allen County, he has a Master of Public Management degree from Indiana University Fort Wayne. Prior to NEI, Mark was a community development planner with Region 3-A Development and Regional Planning Commission, a planner with the Columbia City/Whitley County Joint Planning and Building Department, and a researcher with Community Research Institute at Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Did You Know?
- Mark spent a month in Peru when he was 18 years old. Highlights of the trip included trekking in the Cordillera Huayhuash and backpacking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
- An avid tennis player, Mark played on the men’s team at DePauw University.
- Mark enjoys live music. His favorite contemporary bands include Billy Strings, STS9, and Dark Star Orchestra.
