Did You Know?

  1. Kate’s initial focus at Indiana University was broadcast journalist, and she completed a sports broadcast journalism internship with Northeast Indiana’s own NBC affiliate, called WISE-33 at the time. Highlights from her experience include covering Pole Day at the Indianapolis 500 and meeting retired Chicago Cubs player Ernie Banks.
  2. Summer in Northeast Indiana equals lake season for Kate, her husband, Dustin, and her two children. They love enjoying weekends at the lake and making memories with family and friends!
  3. Kate loves to cook, especially in the summer when she can use fresh ingredients from her garden. Her daughter has recently become interested in cooking and baking, which is lots of fun (and creates a very messy kitchen)!
