FORT WAYNE – The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership (NEI) has hired Chase Gibson to be its Director of Business Development.
Gibson will be responsible for sourcing and nurturing new business expansions and relocations to increase business investment in Northeast Indiana.
“I am very eager for the opportunity to join the NEI team as Director of Business Development. Being able to drive new business to the region excites me. Northeast Indiana has been building up a lot of momentum, and I am thrilled to be part of the driving force behind that” Gibson said. “Previously, I worked at the state level where I worked with businesses 1-on-1 to help them grow and succeed. I plan on taking a similar, personal approach to each prospective business interested in Northeast Indiana as we continue to capture new opportunities for the community we serve.”
Previously, Gibson worked for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation as the APEX Accelerator for two years. Before that, he was the project manager for four years at Core & Main.

Gibson is a graduate of Warsaw High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in financial planning and services from Purdue University.
