This Year’s Pioneer Event Features More

2025 Pioneer Finalists

The 3rd Annual Pioneer Event is nearly a month away!

As we put the finishing touches on our event on May 8th at The Pearl, we wanted to tell you how we got to this point.

Preparations for our event began last summer, and it was then that we decided we wanted more. While we were happy with the previous two Pioneer Events, we’re hungry to improve and make it even better.

This means more nominees, more videos, more categories, and more community involvement.

For the 2024 event, we had four finalists up for the Pioneer of the Year award. Heading into May 8th, we have eight nominees eligible to win.

The eight you’ll be voting for are:

Brand Champion Category

Brendon Maxwell – Co-founder & CIO of Utopian Coffee

Derek Myers – Founder & CEO of Neoti

Dan Starr – CEO of Do it Best

Entrepreneur Category

Crystal Vann Wallstrom – Founder of Swizzle Market

Kayla Ellenwood – Owner of Pulse Dance Studio

Social Impact Category

Javier Mondragon – Co-founder & CEO of Bridge of Grace Ministries

Clinton Faupel – Co-founder & Executive Director of RemedyLIVE

Rev. Angelo Mante – Executive Director of Alive Community Outreach

To get down to one winner, we’re asking our community to vote for who should win. We will have community voting, starting Wednesday, April 2nd. Be sure to keep a close eye on our social media channels to get involved.

On the theme of more, we also added a Junior Pioneer category.  We are excited to honor our first Junior Pioneer, Sammie Vance. Sammie’s Buddy Bench Project has been spreading kindness around the world and is a wonderful story.

As you’ll see from each of their videos, the stories are great, and we’re excited to honor all our Pioneers on May 8th.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all there!
