Business Development Team Hosts Two Selling Northeast Indiana Luncheons

NEI CEO Stéphane Frijia has recently completed travels to Silicon Valley and Calgary to speak about venture capital and explore opportunities to accelerate new economy and innovation growth. A key takeaway from both trips was the importance of well-organized, informed and engaged civic and business leadership.

This is why we are committed to providing our stakeholders with exceptional value beyond the regular-scheduled and well-attended ROC (Regional Opportunities Council) meetings. To further empower you and to support our ongoing success, we hosted two intimate Selling Northeast Indiana Luncheons on Monday, June 12 and Thursday, June 29.

The purpose of these sessions was to deepen our partnership and share valuable insights on our strategy, tactics, and results. We recognize the importance of staying ahead in today’s dynamic market, and that even a casual conversation can blossom into a new opportunity. Our aim is to equip you with the knowledge and strategies we are leveraging to achieve growth and competitive advantage for NEI.

Here are the four key strategies we are using:

  • 1: Focus on key industries and specific locations for business attraction.

  • 2: Enhance marketing efforts through diverse channels and events to attract targeted audiences and generate leads.

  • 3: Strengthen internal expertise and provide specialized services to potential investors.

  • 4: Position NEI as a leader in economic development thinking.

At the events – held at our NEI office – NEI Vice President of Business Development Brandon Noll demonstrated how each tactic the team uses aligns with our 2023 Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and our organization’s Rolling Three-Year Strategic Plan. NEI’s unique Consultative Selling Strategy has proven valuable, coupled with high touch and targeted industry business attraction efforts.

The events were well-received and well-attended, with many key stakeholders present. We plan to continue this conversation throughout the year – opening it up and expanding topics to the additional teams, projects and endeavors within NEI.

As always, there are exciting things to come and we look forward to sharing updates regarding this event series with you.
