DECATUR, Ind. (WANE) - 23 original art sculptures were unveiled Saturday morning for the 2013 Sculpture Tour in downtown Decatur.

The sculptures were installed Friday morning along 2nd and Monroe Streets. Each sculpture had to be an original work that was created within the last three years.

The event also features a children's chalk walk, food vendors, outdoor art gallery, and a concert.

Leaders of the event say the sculptures are for sale but have to remain on display until next year's event.

The Sculpture Tour is also held in conjunction with the Old 27 Film Festival, which is also being held Saturday in Decatur. The film competition requires contestants to integrate parts of Decatur's Sculpture Tour and the city itself in each film. The festival is being held at the Old 27 Ice Cream Shop.
