Fort Wayne -
Fort Wayne-based Vera Bradley Inc. has inked another licensing agreement. The company is partnering with California-based Incipio to put its signature patterns on a variety of technology products, such as smartphone and tablet cases.
Distribution of the products, which also include power solutions and portable audio, will begin in the spring of 2017. The products will be available at Vera Bradley stores and on the company's website, as well as specialty and chain stores throughout the country.
"Through inspiring and expressive design, Vera Bradley has a distinctive position in the women's lifestyle market," said Kristen Roney, vice president of licensing for Incipio. "The agreement allows for the iconic, vibrant prints and patterns that comprise the Vera Bradley brand to include a complementary range of thoughtfully designed tech solutions, adding another measure of brand versatility and distinction."
The deal adds to a list of licensing agreements for the Vera Bradley announced earlier this year. In September, the company announced deals with Lifeguard Press for stationery and home and office organizational products as well as Fox Chapel Publishing for coloring activity and design books and gift sets.
Earlier this month, Vera Bradley entered into licensing agreements with California-based Peking Handicraft Inc. for decorative bedding, area rugs and kitchen textiles, North Carolina-based Renfro Corp. for hosiery, tights, boot liners and slipper socks and Pennsylvania-based Mainstream Swimsuits Inc. for swimwear and cover-ups.
