Arts United Details Grants, Debuts Cultural Initiative

FORT WAYNE -
Fort Wayne-based Arts United has announced more than $930,000 in grants for local organizations and projects. During a recent ceremony, the state's second-largest arts council also unveiled a community-wide cultural plan called the Platform for Cultural Advancement.
The organization has also announced annual award winners, including:
AWS Foundation for Outstanding Advocate/Supporter
Gregory Stieber for Outstanding Artist of the Year
Fort Wayne Civic Theatre and Science Central for Outstanding Collaboration
End Times Spasm Band for Outstanding Collaboration
Jonathan Busarow for Emerging Leader
Rick Cartwright for the Margaret Ann Keegan Award
George Bartling for Volunteer of the Year
Foellinger Foundation for Lifetime Achievement Award
