AT&T customers in Pierceton will now have faster, more reliable cell service. The company has upgraded a cell tower on its 4G LTE network to improve connectivity.
“There’s no doubt this investment by AT&T will have a positive impact on our business attraction and retention efforts,” said Kosciusko Economic Development Corp. President George Robertson. “Our innovators and job creators will benefit from quicker service and be better able to connect to their customers here and around the globe.”
Enhancements were made last year to another network in Kosciusko County, which added capacity to sites in Etna Green, Leesburg, Milford, South Park, Syracuse and Warsaw. The new upgrades in Pierceton add to the nearly $1.7 billion in improvements AT&T has made to its Indiana network between 2014 and 2016.
