AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) has launched its 4G LTE service in several northeast Indiana communities. The company says its high-speed mobile Internet service is now available in Churubusco, Harlan and Arcola, among others.
The service has also been launched in Greenfield Mills, Lafontaine, Markle, Pleasant Plain, Warren and Van Buren.
"Faster, reliable mobile internet benefits so many segments of our economy in Northeast Indiana," said State Senator Andy Zay (R-17). "Whether it’s our agribusinesses, our tourism hot spots or our entrepreneurial ventures, this investment from AT&T will certainly be welcomed."
AT&T says it has invested nearly $1.7 billion into its technology infrastructure from 2014 to 2016.
