Auburn company boosts marketing
SCP Limited of Auburn has taken two steps to improve marketing of its products in the United States and Europe.
SCP said it continues to experience rapid growth as a result of an extensive investment in the development and processing of advanced ceramic materials used in the manufacturing of hot surface igniters.
The investment in new technology has allowed SCP to solve some of the industries’ largest issues including reliability, breakage and low voltage operation, the company said.
Based on the response from customers in the Americas, SCP is expanding its presence in Europe providing combustion ignition solutions for manufacturers of gas cooking appliances and residential and commercial boilers and heating equipment.
SCP said it is making an investment in Europe to establish its European sales hub and sales office in Munich, Germany. In collaboration with PBS Sales, a dedicated team of sales and customer service professionals, SCP can more closely support our local and global customers in Europe and the surrounding region.
“We are excited about the ability to provide our European clients with increased local sales and service support.” said Paul M. Schlueter, vice president of Global sales at SCP. “The dedicated resources in Europe reinforces our commitment, customer oriented culture, and alignment to our customers’ needs.
“We (SCP) are excited to take the next steps in our expansion plans in Europe and are happy to partner with such a capable group,” said Jim Buchanan, president and CEO of SCP. “I look forward to seeing the new partnerships we will build in Europe with this expansion and increased awareness of our technology.”
SCP also has appointed Controls, Components & Systems to represent it with HVAC equipment and cooking appliance manufacturers in the Midwest Region.
SCP said the appointment of CCS allows it to expand its customer relationships and continue its strategy of providing combustion ignition solutions of increasing value and performance to its customers in the marketplace.
With three sales offices in Ohio and Indiana, Controls Components & Systems has more than 75 combined years of sales experience serving OEMs with electrical, mechanical and, electronic components for heating and cooking applications.
“In our high-growth environment, we quickly realized that we need to expand our field sales team to maintain the customer intimacy that our customers expect from SCP,” Schlueter said. “With their experience and professional approach to collaborating with customers, CCS was an easy choice for us.”
