ALBION — The Advanced Manufacturing & Logistics class at Central Noble Junior-Senior High School has been recognized as an official Hire Technology school by Conexus.
Central Noble served as a pilot school for Conexus during the 2012-2013 school year and is now in its third year offering the curriculum.
There are now more than 80 schools in Indiana offering the class which is aimed at addressing the need for a new generation of manufacturing labor and helping bridge the skills gap employers have identified.
The course provides students the opportunity to earn dual credit through a partnership with Ivy Tech and offers students the chance to earn MSSC credentials as a Certified Logistics Associate.
Busche CNC Machining continues to offer the students opportunities to learn about the 21st-century working environment through plant tours, classroom visits and a job shadowing experience.
