Decatur factory to close, costing 88 jobs
Innovative Buildings Systems LLC has notified state officials that it will close its Decatur factory within the next 10 days, putting 88 people out of work.
The company that makes custom modular homes is filing for bankruptcy and will close all its factories, which are located in Iowa, Maine, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
The corporate headquarters in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is also closing permanently, officials said in a letter received Thursday by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
