Fort Wayne food forum planned

The Northeast Indiana Local Food Network will be hosting the 2019 Northeast Indiana Local Food Forum and Social Hour onMarch 18 at the Walb Union on the Purdue University Fort Wayne campus, according to its website.

The event will allow participants to connect with local farmers, food producers, chefs, community leaders, dietitians, healthy food and sustainable agriculture advocates, and consumers from the region to learn, share ideas and grow the local food community.

It will include a social hour, and vendors who will offer local food, beer, wine, kombucha and juices. At 5 p.m. an after-party will begin with live music and free food samples.
