Fort Wayne in ‘Top 100 Best Places to Live’
Fort Wayne has been listed as one of the "Top 100 Best Places to Live" in 2019.
The list was created by Livability.com which features cities througout the U.S. that are top places to live, work, and visit. The site examined more than 1,000 cities based on economics, housing, amenities, infrastructure, demographics, social and civic capital, education and health care.
Fort Wayne was ranked number 93 on the list calling it "a literal playground for residents and visitors of all ages."
The article highlights the Summit City's parks, trails, minor league teams, the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, and local breweries.
Fort Wayne was the third Indiana city to make the list. Bloomington was ranked number 19, while Indianapolis was number 75.
The top three were Boise, Idaho, Raleigh, North Carolina, and Madison Wisconsin.
