Fort Wayne to Myrtle Beach Flights to Resume

Fort Wayne, Ind. – Non-stop service to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has returned for the summer! Airport Authority officials are pleased to welcome back Allegiant’s service between Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) and Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) beginning Thursday, May 17, 2012.
“Allegiant has been a great partner in providing seasonal vacation destinations for the area’s travelers,” said Scott Hinderman, Executive Director of Airports. “Myrtle Beach is an excellent place to take a vacation. With hundreds of fun activities and golf courses to enjoy, we hope the Fort Wayne community will take advantage of this great service once again this summer.”
Allegiant will operate two flights per week, departing FWA at 3:40 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays and arriving at MYR at 5:15 p.m. Return service will depart MYR at 6 p.m., arriving into FWA at approximately 7:40 p.m.
In addition to Myrtle Beach service, Allegiant also recently introduced service to Punta Gorda, Florida, located near Fort Myers. Orlando and Tampa Bay, Florida are also among the airline’s non-stop vacation destinations.
