Hudson Industries Seeking Abatement For $6.5 Million Investment

(HUDSON) - The Hudson Town Council is scheduled on Tuesday night to consider a tax abatement request from Hudson Industries for nearly $6.5 million in investments.
The company, which has been operating in Steuben County since 1990, plans to buy new machinery and equipment as part of an expansion which they hope will lead to the hiring of between 15 and 20 new workers.
Hudson Industries currently has 222 employees.
Hudson Industries is owned by Midway Products Group which has its headquarters in Monroe, Michigan.
The company has manufacturing operations in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
Besides Hudson, they also have an operation in Shipshewana.
The company is an advanced manufacturer of stampings and assemblies for the automotive industry.
