By WANE Staff Reports | WAYNE.com

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) The first ever Middle Waves Music Festival is set to take place on September 16 and 17 at Headwaters Park in downtown Fort Wayne. The all-ages festival will feature musical acts of various genres, as well as food trucks, artists and much more.

The Flaming Lips are the headlining act and are known for their live shows featuring puppets, balloons and featuring band member Wayne Coyne inside a plastic ball he uses to move about the audience. General admission single day and two-day tickets can be purchased online.

If you’re still not sure about what Middle Waves has to offer, check out the festival guide which has lots of great information, including a map showing the three stages.

You can download it here.  Copies of the guide will also be distributed in the September 8 edition of Whatzup magazine.

We’ve also posted some YouTube videos of some of the national and local artists set to perform.  You can check those out here.
