A seasonal nonstop flight to a popular vacation destination has returned to Fort Wayne International Airport. Service to Myrtle Beach International Airport on Allegiant Airlines is set to begin June 8. Flights will run Mondays and Fridays through August 13.
FWA also offers seasonal nonstop service to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and year-round nonstops to Punta Gorda Airport, Orlando Sanford International Airport and St. Pete - Clearwater International Airport. In all, Fort Wayne International offers nonstop service to 12 cities on four airlines.
The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority says the airport served more than 735,000 passengers last year and has recorded eight straight years of passenger growth.
