New press unit being installed by KPC Media Group in Kendallville

KENDALLVILLE — KPC Media Group Inc. is installing a new unit to its Goss Community Press at its plant at 102 N. Main St. The new full-color unit will provide KPC’s press 50 percent more color capability. It will also improve the quality of KPC’s printed products, cut down on newsprint waste and allow for more commercial printing options.

The installation will require the Friday and Saturday editions of this newspaper to be printed off-site. The newspapers on Friday and Saturday will have the usual number of pages, but they will be printed in one section. It is hoped the Sunday editions of the dailies will be printed on the new press unit at the Kendallville plant.
