Perfection Wheel adding jobs

Perfection Wheel, a vehicle wheel manufacturer near downtown Huntington, announced a $130,000 investment in a piece of equipment that will create five jobs and retain 30 more. The announcement came Friday morning.

“We are excited about the future,” said Perfection Wheel owner Roger McClellan. “We live and work in an area that’s conducive to business.”

Perfection Wheel is a Huntington-based company that was founded by McClellan in 2010. The company re-manufactures aluminum wheels for automotive after-market customers, wholesale parts distributors, auto body and tire shops and automotive dealerships. Perfection Wheel has been a success story for Huntington County since opening its doors early in 2011.

Mark Wickersham, the executive director of Huntington County United Economic Development, said it is “fun and rewarding” to help local companies such as Perfection Wheel.

“It’s a privilege to have a relationship with Perfection Wheel,” he said.

Huntington mayor Brooks Fetters also attended the announcement and congratulated McClellan and the staff at Perfection Wheel on a job well done.

“I am thrilled with the incredible success (of Perfection Wheel),” he said. “It’s exciting to be here.”
