Perry ProTech breaks ground for new facility

Perry ProTech broke ground on its new, 23,000 square-foot office and warehouse building off Airport Expressway on June 21.
This new facility will allow the company to consolidate operations from two existing Fort Wayne locations. The building will occupy roughly 2.5 acres of the 5.5 acre lot. The project is expected to finish by the end of this year.
The design of the new building is more tech-driven and tech-friendly, said executive vice president Dave Zimerle. It is being pre-engineered and pre-built.
Based in Lima, Ohio, Perry ProTech has been in Fort Wayne since 1983 and currently employs approximately 80 employee-owners in the market. The new building will provide plenty of room for future company growth. The location near the airport also offers the strategic advantage of being both central and convenient to the Fort Wayne area. “This transition streamlines our current processes and will better equip us to serve the needs of the Fort Wayne area moving forward,” Zimerle said.
