Presenters lined up for leadership summit

Scott Druhot is promising “deep-dive discussions” at a leadership event he says you won't want to miss.
Mayor Tom Henry is a scheduled speaker. Marlin Stutzman is also on the list.
Mark Hagar, Jenee Johnson and Dr. Mark O'Shaughnessy are among others scheduled for the day-long Catalyst Leadership Experience on Jan. 9 at Grand Wayne Center.
The Catalyst event is Scott Druhot's first effort at such a leadership training, but he said through email it's “been in the works for some time.”
Druhot is CEO and principal at Catalyst 1440 LLC, which provides guidance on accelerating leadership and organizational goals while maximizing time. The “1440” is tied to the number of minutes in a day.
Druhot expects at least 200 people to attend the January event.
“One of the main goals is to provide an engaging and interactive leadership and networking environment where attendees can speak directly with presenters and execs,” Druhot said in an email response.
Most of the speakers are from the area.
Stutzman, the former congressman, is one of the keynote presenters, with a session titled “Leading Starts With Listening.”
Scott Lasater, CEO of Lasater Institute, is another keynoter, presenting “Leadership Insights I Learned From Jack Welch.”
Mayor Henry is scheduled with Druhot for the 30-minute welcome and general session to open the event.
Hagar is president of Prentice Products, a managing member of RAINindiana, an adviser and organizer for TEDx of Fort Wayne, which returns in March 2018.
Johnson is a manager with Junior Achievement, and O'Shaughnessy is a Parkview Hospital cardiologist.
The list of other speakers is just as diverse. Workshop topics include “Are You a Manager or Leader,” “The Theology of Mary Poppins” and “Mentoring Tomorrow's Leaders.”
Corporate sponsors for the event include Ambassador Enterprises, Huntington University, Apple Tree Financial Group and the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership.
Registration for the event is $189 per person and includes training materials, a networking event, lunch and snacks throughout the day.
