NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. (21Alive) --

If someone asked you what northeast Indiana is all about, what would you tell them?

The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership is looking to answer that by creating a master narrative with their new "Our Story" project.

The project comes in five phases, but the public is needed for phase 3, which is the regional workshop phase. Residents of northeast Indiana are encouraged to attend one of ten workshops where they'll be able to tell their personal stories about Northeast Indiana.

It's a big role in crafting the region's authentic story.

"We just think that it involves everyone - not just people who actually market northeast Indiana for a living- but your average resident, business person, what they say, what they feel about northeast Indiana, that's the true story of northeast Indiana and that's what we want to get to through this project," says Courtney Tritch, VP Marketing for the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership.

The project is scheduled to be completed later this year.
