Start Fort Wayne launches one-on-one coaching
By Dan McGowan | Inside INdiana Business
Start Fort Wayne is launching a new program designed to boost the skills of founders and entrepreneurs. Compass, which is part of the nonprofit's LevelUp series, involves one-on-one coaching for individuals building a new business in northeast Indiana.
The program is free and can be completed in 6-8 weeks or on a smaller scale for entrepreneurs to walk through specific challenges.
Start Fort Wayne says those who complete the full Compass curriculum will gain skills such as:
- Build their business model's assumptions.
- Validate those with buyers and sellers.
- Project their financials.
- Prepare to present to lenders, investors, or customers.
LevelUp entrepreneur coach Steve Franks will lead the one-on-one sessions. He says "since soft-launching Compass, I’ve met with over 40 entrepreneurs from over 30 ventures. And we are just getting started!"
Start Fort Wayne focuses on the startup community in northeast Indiana and it runs a coworking space called Atrium in downtown Fort Wayne. You can connect to more about the Compass program by clicking here and more about LevelUp by clicking here.
