SummerJam draws talents, crowds to Fort Wayne Thursday
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) --- Several up-and-coming songwriters joined together for one night to bring the joy of music into Fort Wayne.
Over 1100 fans from as far as Atlanta came to the University of Saint Francis Performing Arts Center Thursday night for local Top 40 radio station HOT107.9’s SummerJam Concert.
Six international recording artists performed their hits live in front of the audience, and one local artist;
Among the mix were Shawn Hook and Ruth B, both Canadian singer-songwriters that have their singles "Sound of Your Heart" and "Lost Boy" currently playing on top 40 stations around the country.
Brother-duo Tryon also took the stage, along with 'The Voice' alum Melanie Martinez.
Newly-founded girl group Bahari sang for their fans as well, and Carroll High School alum Lauren Sanderson.
Headlining the show was YouTube-star-turned-pop-music-sensation Troye Sivan.
There was also a meet and greet for the most dedicated fans with all of the artists.
