Trine Announces New Business School Dean

Dan McGowan

ANGOLA -

The graduate program director of Trine University's Ketner School of Business has been promoted to dean of the school. Toby Swick has been with the university since 2012 and succeeds Scott Fergusson.

Swick has been the Ketner School's chair since last spring. Prior to joining Trine, he served as director of graduate programs in business at Bowling Green State University in Ohio and is also a former director of graduate programs at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Prior to his higher education career, he spent five years in the marine and sporting goods sales industries.

Fergusson left the university more than a year ago to focus on his work as founder of Chapman Brewing Co. in Steuben County.

The school is part of Trine's College of Engineering and Business.
