Trine partners with Ohio school on law degrees

Trine University in Angola has entered into a partnership it says will give law students a shorter and more cost-effective path to a Juris Doctor degree. The agreement with Ohio Northern University will allow students to complete their degree in six years, rather than seven.

The program, known as 3+3, will give Trine students the chance to complete six years of combined undergraduate and graduate work. Trine says students "will have the option to finish their coursework at Trine after three years, with their first-year courses in ONU's Pettit College of Law completing their bachelor's degree at Trine."

"At Trine we are always looking for new ways to help our students achieve their life's goals," said Trine President Earl Brooks. "This agreement allows students who want to complete a law degree to do so with one less year of classwork and tuition expense."

Trine says it is working to develop similar partnerships with other law schools in the Midwest.
