Trine Sets Record For Spring Enrollment
ANGOLA -
Spring enrollment at Trine University has increased 30 percent, hitting a new record. The university has 3,657 students enrolled for this spring semester, up from 2,829 during the same time last year.
Trine says the increase can be attributed to more graduate and international students, along with more business, engineering and health science students. The university says its dual enrollment program, which allows high school students to take college courses, also contributed to the growth.
"This increase is especially satisfying when coupled with our record-setting enrollment the past two fall semesters," said Scott Goplin, vice president for enrollment management. "Everyone on campus, including faculty, staff, coaches and current students, plays a huge role in growing and sustaining enrollment."
The university adds that 98.8 percent of its 2015 graduates were employed or in graduate school within six months of graduating.
