Tru by Hilton Fort Wayne celebrates grand opening
Tru by Hilton Fort Wayne will welcome local dignitaries to help celebrate the hotel’s grand opening on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. The day’s event will include tours of the property, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and reception. The property is owned by Fort Wayne Hotels LLC and managed by Dora Hospitality.
Fort Wayne will be a trendsetter, as this is the first Tru by Hilton opened in Indiana. Just 35 Tru by Hilton hotels are currently operating in the United States, with 400 more on their way in the coming years.
The 92-room hotel is located at 5345 Distribution Drive, near Lima Road and I-69, with easy access to attractions such as Spiece Fieldhouse, the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, Glenbrook Square, Purdue University Fort Wayne, and more.
