A Fort Wayne maker of tubing products is planning a $495,000 expansion that will create 11 new jobs paying an average of $40,545.

Precision Products Group Inc. plans to install new equipment at its 1430 Progress Road plant and is requesting City Council approve an abatement that could save the company nearly $27,000 in taxes over seven years. The application will be introduced Tuesday.

Founded in 1990, the company had sales of about $26.2 million in 2015 and currently has 54 employees, according to the application.
