North Manchester -
In January, young science enthusiasts from the area will converge on the Manchester University (MU) campus for the annual Invitational Science Olympiad.
Kathy Davis, an assistant professor of chemistry at MU, has helped organize the Olympiad for the past few years. She noted that the Science Olympiad is a nationwide organization that is meant to get kids involved and excited about science in its many forms. The goal is to expand a student’s understanding of science beyond classroom walls.
