Liz Boren joined the Regional Partnership in November 2016. Her key responsibility as administrative assistant is overseeing and ensuring efficiency in the daily operations of the office, coordinating meetings, and maintaining and promoting an office environment that reflects the Partnerships’ values.
She brings more than 6 years of customer service experience from various industries within the non-profit sector, most recently from higher education. She has a passion for creating an atmosphere in which her co-workers are set up for success.
Liz grew up in the region and attended IPFW, where she studied fine arts, art history, and anthropology. Studying these fields gave her great travel opportunities, such as two study abroad trips to Italy, where she studied fine art and Italian and one to Peru, where she participated in an archaeological dig. She likes to incorporate her love of aesthetics and visual organization into her everyday life so to benefit and enrich her environment.

- Although Liz and her husband are working feverishly to pay off student loans and live a debt-free lifestyle, they still set aside time and money to enjoy Fort Wayne’s local restaurants. Some of their top picks include: Club Soda, Calhoun Soup, Salad, and Spirits, and Mad Anthony’s Brewing Company.
- One of her biggest goals after becoming debt-free will be to prioritize travel with her husband, family, and friends. She also dreams of re-modeling an RV or camper to utilize for extended travel.
- When it comes to shopping, Liz will go to secondhand shops over the mall any day and really enjoys the process of finding hidden gems.
