Dear Friends and Stakeholders,
It is with great enthusiasm that I share with you the highlights from our newly approved Strategic Plan for 2025-2027, a blueprint meticulously crafted to unleash the collective strength and potential of Northeast Indiana.
This morning this strategic plan update has received the formal endorsement of our Board of Directors, signifying our unified commitment to fostering a vibrant, innovative and inclusive regional economy.
As your President & CEO, I am deeply committed to steering our region toward an era of unparalleled growth, innovation and inclusivity. This is our first update since we first released this plan in June of 2022, and it represents a refinement of our key goals and strategies.
Over the past few years, we have made significant progress concerning how we can support and amplify Northeast Indiana’s thriving economic and innovation momentum, as well as, how we can lead and support regional stakeholders to develop, execute and promote community-minded growth strategies and investments in both rural and urban settings.
Our Strategic Goals for a Thriving Northeast Indiana:
- Growth: We aim to attract significant business investments and enhance attributes that make our region attractive to all businesses and individuals. This will be achieved through targeted initiatives that support infrastructure, readiness, and overall competitiveness.
- Innovation: Northeast Indiana is set to become a recognized leader in innovation and technology. By showcasing our success stories and enhancing our digital presence, we will attract investments that drive technological advancements and entrepreneurial endeavors.
- Inclusivity: At the heart of our mission is the creation of equitable opportunities for all our residents. We are committed to fostering an environment where both urban and rural communities can thrive, supported by equitable investments in infrastructure and community-driven policies.
This plan is a testament that our region’s historical successes and vitality are a direct result of our ability to create meaningful partnerships, with existing industrial clusters, Northeast Indiana educational institutions, local economic development organizations and governmental agencies at all levels to boost infrastructure, readiness and overall competitiveness, laying the groundwork for new investments.
Many across the state, look closely to our brand of collaboration, our storytelling and innovative ideas, as something worth emulating.
