Data Center will bring high paying jobs

WISE Web News

Lifeline Data Centers is the company that bought the former Target building on South Anthony Boulevard.

In 2014 Alex Carrol, a managing member of the company told us the office was slated to open in that building by the end of 2015.

But Carroll says that date was just an approximation and theyve been busy with their data centers in Indianapolis, where the company is based.

He says things are moving forward with the center here in Fort Wayne.
They started demolition last week and they've been in there cleaning up.

He also says they hope to have their architectural drawings finished in the next week or two.

After that's done, they start the permitting process.
Carrol says the center should bring between 90 and 100 high tech, high paying jobs to the area.

The center will open in November or December of 2016.
