CME Corp. is set to break ground April 27 for a new facility for Fastenal, a worldwide manufacturing, machining, and engineering services supplier in Fort Wayne.

“This truly is a day that celebrates our business partnerships in the Fort Wayne marketplace. Since coming to Fort Wayne in 1986, Fastenal has strived to live up to its moto “Growth Through Customer Service,” said Billy Lytle, district sales manager for northeast Indiana. “Over the course of the last 24-36 months, part of that mission has been trying to find a location that better serves our customers, the retail marketplace, and our employees as their investment in our business has spurred growth that our current location at 3012 Independence Drive could no longer accommodate.”

The private groundbreaking ceremony at 1928 W. Coliseum Blvd. was created as invitation-only event.
