Federal-Mogul closing factory in Avilla

February 13th, 2014

News Coverage:

Federal-Mogul Corp. (Nasdaq: FDML) is planning to shut down a Noble County facility. In a notice to the state, the company says it will cease operations at its Avilla plant in October. The move will affect nearly 100 employees.

The plant makes lighting components for the automotive industry.

Federal-Mogul says the move is a response to "changing market dynamics" and a need to "improve capacity utilization" of lighting operations.
