Final block party schedule released

ALBION — Organizers for the Noble County ALL-IN Block Party have released the final schedule of meetings and events for the event planned for June 25 around the Noble County Courthouse Square in Albion.

Noble County ALL-IN Block Party Final Meeting Schedule

• June 18 — Pre-Block Party Entertainment — Entertainment Stage 7-10 p.m. featuring Elements Band.

• June 30 — Evaluation Meeting of Noble County ALL-IN Block Party Steering Committee — Noble County Public Library in Albion at 5:30 p.m. This will be a pizza party. Lower level meeting room.

• July — Final Reports due to all grant donors.

• June 24 Agenda

4:30 p.m. — Albion Streets officially close

5-9 p.m. — Set-up for ALL-IN Block Party for S.T.A.R. + Partner Organizations

This is the preferred set-up time. For those absolutely not able to set up your booth then, setup must be completed by 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

June 25 Agenda

6-8:30 a.m. — Set-up for All-IN Block Party for S.T.A.R. + Partner Organizations.

Please note that all vehicles must be removed from area by 8:30 a.m.

9:00 a.m. — Noble County ALL-IN Block Party Welcome Center officially opens

9:30-10 a.m. — Opening Ceremony

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Community Partner Booths open. Noble County ALL-IN Photo Contest Exhibit and Haiku Contest Exhibit open in Opera House. Noble Art Gallery open for visitors. Noble County Commerative Quilt and Indiana Barn Quilt on exhibit in Courthouse. Old Jail Museum Open

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Entertainment

10 a.m. — Central Noble High School Choir

11 a.m. — Berean Baptist Church Choir

Noon — Todd Herendeen and Band

2 p.m. — Red Arrow Band

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Random Theatrical Performances on west Courthouse steps featuring local actors and youth ACTuP participants

Roving Noble County Notables Impersonators.

11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. — Courthouse History Tours — Meet at north door for tour.

3 p.m. Block Party closes

3-5 p.m. Tear-down and clean-up

5 p.m. - Albion streets reopen

Other events in community:

All day — Destiny Family of Faith Church will be holding an event at the Noble County Saddle Club with activities for the family.

Noon to 5 p.m. — Northern Indiana Dairy Trail Open House at Steve Phares Farm 6043 N 100 W, Albion, Indiana 46701. Free to the pubic of all ages. This is an Indiana Bicentennial Legacy Project.

7-9 p.m. — Christian concert at Grace Christian Church located at the corner of Main and Orange streets in Albion featuring Jondo Trio, a Christian Blues band. The Coffee Shop will be open featuring your favorite coffee beverages. All are welcome to attend.
