Fort Wayne Hosting Farm Bureau Convention

Indiana Farm Bureau is holding its annual state convention in downtown Fort Wayne. Beginning Thursday, Visit Fort Wayne says more than 1,200 attendees are expected to take part in industry meetings, exhibits and breakout sessions related to farming production advancements.

The event is expected to generate an estimated $750,000 in economic impact for the Fort Wayne area. Radio personality and agriculture advocate Trent Loos will speak to members Friday's general session.

The convention runs through Saturday at the Grand Wayne Convention Center. This is the first time the city has hosted the convention since 2013.

Indiana Farm Bureau has more than 73,000 farmer members and 182,000 associate members. You can learn more about the event by clicking here.
