Companies will be looking to fill nearly 3,000 positions Wednesday at a job fair in Fort Wayne. Organizers say the event will feature openings in industries including finance, education, government, health care and agriculture.
The job fair is set for Wednesday, August 8 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at the Purdue University Fort Wayne Student Union. The event, organized in part by Congressman Jim Banks (R-3), will also connect participants with postsecondary education institutions and resume and interview coaching from WorkOne Northeast.
Banks' office says openings range from truck drivers and welders to registered nurses and teachers.
